Apple shares go down ahead of market

US stock futures were subdued on Tuesday as investors eyed the upcoming inflation report and possible rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve.

By 08:06 ET (12:06 GMT), Dow futures were mostly unchanged, S&P 500 futures were up 5 points, or 0.1%, and Nasdaq futures 100 was up 12 points or 0.1%.

Here are some of the biggest moves in US stocks before the market today.

Apple shares ( NASDAQ:AAPL ) fell in premarket U.S. trading on Tuesday after the tech giant unveiled the latest AI-enhanced versions of its flagship iPhone and the European Union’s top court ruled against the company in a years-long legal dispute regarding her taxes in Ireland.

Shares of Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) rose sharply before the opening bell after the group reported better-than-expected fiscal first-quarter results, thanks to strong demand for its cloud business. The Texas-based cloud services company also announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) Web Services that will allow customers to access Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Exadata Database Service within AWS.

Alibaba’s (NYSE:BABA) American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) rose more than 2% premarket as investors reacted to news of its listing on mainland China. Alibaba announced its participation in Southbound (SB) Connect late Monday. It comes after the Chinese e-commerce company upgraded its listing in Hong Kong to primary status last month, paving the way for its addition to the Stock Connect Scheme of China’s Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges.

Shares of Rubrik (NYSE:RBRK) fell after the data security group’s second-quarter results raised concerns among investors about its performance for the rest of the fiscal year.
Shares of Mission Produce ( NASDAQ:AVO ) rose after the avocado supplier reported better-than-expected third-quarter revenue.

Viridian Therapeutics (NASDAQ:VRDN) announced that its experimental treatment for patients suffering from thyroid eye disease significantly reduced eye inflammation in an advanced-stage trial.
