US stock futures were mostly lower on Tuesday ahead of the release of more important economic data.
Here are some of the biggest moves in US stocks before the market today
Shares of CVS Health (NYSE:CVS) rose 2.2% after Reuters reported that the health care company is reportedly considering options that would include splitting off its retail and insurance divisions.
Shares of Ford (NYSE:F) rose 2.4% after Goldman Sachs upgraded its stance on the auto giant to “buy” from “neutral,” citing the opportunity for margin from its growing software and services mix .
Shares of Boeing (NYSE:BA) fell 0.6% after Bloomberg reported that the plane maker is considering raising at least $10 billion from selling new shares.
Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group (NASDAQ:DJT) rose 5.2% after social media platform operator Truth Social announced today that its purpose-built content distribution network now operates from multiple locations across the country.
Nio ( NYSE:NIO ) rose 4.5%, Li Auto ( NASDAQ:LI ) gained 3.7% and Xpeng ( NYSE:XPEV ) rose 3.5% after Chinese automakers EV announced an increase in vehicle deliveries during September and the third quarter of 2024.
Shares of McCormick (NYSE:MKC) rose 1.8% after the spice maker raised its full-year profit guidance after reporting better-than-expected third-quarter results.
Shares of Tesla ( NASDAQ:TSLA ) rose 0.5% ahead of its third-quarter deliveries report on Wednesday, with analysts expecting an 8% jump from a year ago.
Shares of ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (NYSE:ZIM) fell 5.1% as a strike by U.S. dock workers shut down several ports.
